An Open Letter Preceding Tallassee Elections
Hello Tallassee,
It’s an honor to call this community home. I grew up just down the road in Eclectic, and Tallassee has always been a part of my story. Now, I’m excited for the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
As the upcoming election approaches, I want to share a bit about who I am and why I’m running for City Council in Ward 1 in the Tallassee elections. I’m not a career politician. I’ve never held public office, and I don’t have a political science degree. What I do have is a deep love for this town, a commitment to listening, and a willingness to work hard to make Tallassee a place where everyone can thrive.
My vision for our community is rooted in collaboration, transparency, and progress. I believe good decisions come from thoughtful research, open dialogue, and a willingness to adapt when needed. If elected, I’ll bring a fresh perspective and a steady hand, always keeping the best interests of Tallassee residents at the heart of every choice.
One of my key goals is to support our local businesses, both the ones that have served us for years and the new ones just getting started. By working closely with business owners and tapping into county and state resources, we can create policies that help them succeed. I also want to help Tallassee grow its online presence. In today’s world, if something isn’t visible online, it’s often invisible altogether. Promoting our events, businesses, and community strengths digitally can help us reach new audiences and opportunities.
Just as importantly, I want to make sure the voices of Ward 1 are heard. I’ll be an open, responsive representative, someone who listens first and acts with purpose. I believe that real change begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Whoever you choose to vote for this year in the Tallassee election, I encourage you to learn about each candidate and make an informed decision that reflects your hopes for our city. Local elections matter. Your voice matters.
